My strategy for successful recruitment of prospects involves three levels.
The experience that your institution delivers to a prospective student with each point of contact, called “touchpoints.” Touchpoints establish not only a deliverable promise to a potential customer as to what you offer, but also imply what isn’t included in that promise.
Merging the use of those touchpoints to the capabilities of the team you have in place. Establishing methods of outreach to prospective students needs to be feasible for the organization you actually have, no matter the size. We’ll determine what’s realistic for everyone on your team.
Taking both the touchpoint experience and the institutional capabilities, I then analyze the real-time data for your university. This involves laying out an easy-to-understand pathway that shows you the budgetary bottom line for obtaining leads, and tying those expenditures to outcomes that are connected to YOUR goals.
The niche of continuing education has unique needs apart from the typical degree program cycle of application→acceptance→registration fee as a condition of admission. I can help you build a direct to consumer “shopping cart” that turns non-credit-based seats into immediate inventory using either your existing CRM system or one that I implement for your organization. The goal is for all departments involved in the registration process to be seamlessly and simultaneously notified when a new student enrolls.
